Look At What We Have Been Doing 2022-23
Five on the Vibe magazine project
Our new school magazine Five on the Vibe was created by the 2021-22 Year 5 children at South Milford Primary School.
This fantastic project's aim was to engage the children with writing, encouraging them to be creative, imaginative and to write about their interests.
It also serves as a great memento of the children’s time in Year 5, with snippets of their learning from throughout the year.
Through their hard work and dedication over the school year, the children were the driving force behind this project, from making design and editing decisions to writing all of the content you will find throughout the magazine.
Our Year 5 teaching staff, Miss Carter, Mrs Shreeve and Mrs Silson, helped the children to embrace this project wholeheartedly and their enthusiasm and passion is evident in the outstanding work they have produced. They worked collaboratively, supported and coached each other, and challenged themselves to develop and push their writing skills further than they imagined was possible.
We would like to say thank you to our chair of governors Mr Murphy and his creative agency 18players.com who have supported this project and helped inspire our writing.
